She is desperate to remember.
He is aching to forget.
Together, they are not broken.
But together, one may not survive.

Jade wakes up with no memory of her past and blood on her hands.

Plagued by wicked thoughts, she searches for answers. Instead, she finds a boy who doesn't offer her answers, but hope. But sometimes, when nightmares turn into reality and death follows you everywhere, hope is not enough.

LUST. LOVE. LOSS. Sometimes, all that is left are Ashes and Ice.

A girl.
A coma.
A life she can't remember.

When Emma Walker wakes up in the hospital with no knowledge of how she got there, she learns that she's been in a coma for six months. Strangers show up and claim to be her parents, but she can't remember them. She can't remember anyone. Not her friends, not even her boyfriend. Even though she can't remember, everyone wants her to just pick up where she left off, but what she learns about the 'old her' makes her start to wish she'd never woken up. Her boyfriend breaks up with the new girl he's dating to be with her, her parents want her to start planning for college, her friends want their leader back, and her physical therapist with the hazel eyes keeps his distance to save his position at the hospital.

Will she ever feel like she recognizes the girl in the mirror?

  2. I really need to read the Selection. I've been meaning to but just haven't gotten around to it! haven't heard of Wide Awake but I like the blurb. It kind of reminds me of the movie The Vow but from Rachel McAdams perspective! I'll have to add this one to my list! Thanks for sharing!

  24. So I'm one of the few that actually never liked Maxon but the novella about him does sound interesting. In The Selection he made it seem like he had zero experience with girls and never kissed one before though so I'm a bit confused. Wide Awake sounds great! I love coma and memory loss stories! Thanks for stopping by!
