  The guy she wants…

Growing up on the coast of Maine with a revolving door of foster siblings, Caitlyn Michaud spent one intense and passionate year falling in love with her foster brother, Heath. Then he left without a word. The betrayal devastated Caitlyn and made her vow to forget the compelling bad boy. But forgetting his sensual touch and their deep all-consuming friendship is easier said than done.

  Isn’t the guy she needs…

Determined to move on, in college Caitlyn has risen above her small town impoverished roots and has joined a sorority, reinvented her appearance, and landed the right boyfriend. Pre-law major and frat president, Ethan, is thoughtful and always laughing, and he makes her feel happy, calm. He also gives her the social acceptance she craves.

But the perfect world she tried so hard to attain is ripped apart when Heath appears one night out of nowhere. Caitlyn remembers all the reasons why she loves him, even if they don’t make sense to anyone but her. Out of the military, Heath is as brooding and intense as ever, and he is determined not only to win her back, but to exact revenge on everyone who kept him from her…

And when one love allows her to breathe, but the other feels as essential to her life as air, how does she choose between them?

You Make Me is a book that I didn't think I would love this much, but I did. Don't get me wrong, I knew that I would like it - because cause I wouldn't have read it otherwise - but I didn't think that I would love it.

Caitlyn Michaud worked really hard to escape her past, remake herself into the perfect college student, and land herself a perfect boyfriend. But this world that she worked so hard to build for herself is about to be shattered when Heath, a man from her past, appears out of nowhere.

You Make Me was a really good read that I enjoyed immensely. My emotions went through a roller coaster ride because of how much I connected with the characters. I can connect with Cat regarding her trust issues. Her insecurities and her doubts. It was very realistic and it made me love this book and the characters more.

This book was gripping and heart-clenching, but most importantly, it was real. Their emotions and reactions to certain situations felt real to me. I also liked how their problems weren't just solved in one fight, because real life is messy, and not everything can be solved in just one confrontation.

You Make Me is a relatable read not only for those who are in love, but also for those going through something in life. I fully recommend trying this one out, because I loved it! It even came close to my favorite books - Slammed and Katie McGarry's books - and that's why I'm giving it 4.5 stars!
