Every Day meets Cloud Atlas in this heart-racing, space- and time-bending, epic new trilogy from New York Times bestselling author Claudia Gray.

Marguerite Caine’s physicist parents are known for their radical scientific achievements. Their most astonishing invention: the Firebird, which allows users to jump into parallel universes, some vastly altered from our own. But when Marguerite’s father is murdered, the killer—her parent’s handsome and enigmatic assistant Paul—escapes into another dimension before the law can touch him.

Marguerite can’t let the man who destroyed her family go free, and she races after Paul through different universes, where their lives entangle in increasingly familiar ways. With each encounter she begins to question Paul’s guilt—and her own heart. Soon she discovers the truth behind her father’s death is more sinister than she ever could have imagined.

A Thousand Pieces of You explores a reality where we witness the countless other lives we might lead in an amazingly intricate multiverse, and ask whether, amid infinite possibilities, one love can endure.

Marguerite Caine's parents are physicists who became well-known because of their invention called the Firebird - a small device that allows people to travel between dimension or parallel universes. But not long after the discovery of this, Marguerite finds out that her father has been murdered by Paul Markov, her parents' assistant.

With the help of Theo, Marguerite follows Paul from on dimension to another, in the hopes of avenging her deceased father. But Marguerite soon finds out that the truth is far more complicated than what so knows.

A Thousand Pieces of You is an amazing fantasy read with just the right amount of romance and mystery that prevented me from putting the book down! I literally read this in just one sitting, and I really really loved it! It's fantasy, it's not too far from reality, if that even made sense. There were no foreign terms that I had to remember, so it was not hard to understand.

This book has a very interesting take on parallel universes, which made me want to read more books like it! I really really fell in love with this book, even though I cannot explain it clearly because I might spoil something. It has amazing twists and turns which will make you go :O, but it came together really well in the end.

I can't wait for November so that the rest of the world could read this book already! I fully recommend you guys to buy this one. Also, isn't the cover just amazing? It's not just a book cover, it's an art. I can't wait for the second book, and it breaks my heart how far away the release date of that one is! Anyway, just. Read this. As soon as you get the book. Because it's super amazing, and I promise you that you won't regret it! I have endless love for this book!

“I meant it when I said I didn’t believe in love at first sight. It takes time to really, truly fall for someone. Yet I believe in a moment. A moment when you glimpse the truth within someone, and they glimpse the truth within you. In that moment, you don’t belong to yourself any longer, not completely. Part of you belongs to him; part of him belongs to you. After that, you can’t take it back, no matter how much you want to, no matter how hard you try.”

“Now I know that grief is a whetstone that sharpens all your love, all your happiest memories, into blades that tear you apart from within.”
