When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.

As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow grows over the faerie lands, and Feyre must find a way to stop it . . . or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.

Perfect for fans of Kristin Cashore and George R. R. Martin, this first book in a sexy and action-packed new series is impossible to put down!

I can't help but think that this is one of the other worlds from Throne of Glass series, and the reason that magic has been tampered with is because of the King of Adarlan. Mehehehe.

REVIEW:
Feyre has to hunt to feed her family, and when she saw a wolf in the forest one day, she killed it. Days later, Tamlin, a fae, dragged her into Prythian to live out the rest of her days as punishment for what she did. In the days after, Feyre begins falling for Tamlin and his world. However, she discovers that Prythian is slowly falling apart because of a curse. Secrets are revealed, and Feyre must find a way to stop whatever is happening.

To be honest I was really scared to read this one at first. I loved Throne of Glass so much that I was afraid that this would either not live up to my expectations, or be too similar to the story of Throne of Glass. However, I was clearly wrong. A Court of Thorns and Roses is definitely a unique book from the Throne of Glass series and all other books, and it definitely lived up to my expectations and more.

The world building in A Court of Thorns and Roses was impeccable, the writing exquisite, the pace just right and the plot very interesting. The characters of this book were realistic in terms of personality and the romance was just perfect! There were unexpected twists, at least for me, that made the book even more exciting and gripping. I loved reading this book with all my heart and I cannot wait for others to read it as well. Sarah J. Maas in an incredible author, and more people should read her work.

Guys, if you haven't read this book yet, get your hands on it as soon as possible!
