One moment of recklessness will change their worlds.

Smart. Responsible. That's seventeen-year-old Breanna's role in her large family, and heaven forbid she put a toe out of line. Until one night of shockingly un-Breanna-like behavior puts her into a vicious cyber-bully's line of fire—and brings fellow senior Thomas "Razor" Turner into her life.

Razor lives for the Reign of Terror motorcycle club, and good girls like Breanna just don't belong. But when he learns she's being blackmailed over a compromising picture of the two of them—a picture that turns one unexpected and beautiful moment into ugliness—he knows it's time to step outside the rules.

And so they make a pact: he'll help her track down her blackmailer, and in return she'll help him seek answers to the mystery that's haunted him—one that not even his club brothers have been willing to discuss. But the more time they spend together, the more their feelings grow. And suddenly they're both walking the edge of discovering who they really are, what they want, and where they're going from here.

When I first read Pushing the Limits, I fell in love with Katie McGarry's words. Then I read Dare You To, and I decided, no matter what book Katie McGarry publishes, I would read without even reading the description. True enough, to this day, I have read all her books save one (which I should remedy soon!), and yet she still manages to catch me by surprise with how amazing her books are. Even with my already high expectations because Dare You To is one of my favorite books of all time, Walk the Edge still deserves no less than 5 stars.

Katie McGarry's books are books that I love to read whenever I am going through a rough time because they never fail to put things into perspective for me. They never fail to help in whatever my current struggle is, and for that, I am eternally thankful for her books. In fact, they're not only books for me - they're my constant companion; they're the ones I can rely on to make everything better no matter what.

In Walk the Edge, we once again see the Reign of Terror and the main characters from Nowhere But Here - Emily and Oz. But in this book, the main characters are Razor and Breanna. Ahh, Razor and Breanna, how perfect you are for each other! However, more than the romance, I think the most important process in this book is how the two main characters went through their learning process, of how they began to accept the families that they were put into. I don't know how to put into words what I really mean, but I just loved how in the end, they learned to accept (maybe even love?) their situations and they learned to adjust to it. Razor and Breanna both went through a point of hate, but in the end, they were able to let go of that.

Maybe everything happens for a reason, or maybe it doesn't. But that doesn't matter anyway because maybe we hold our own destinies. Yes, we get put into situations that we have no choice about, but there are so many things about each situation that are up to us. We get to decide what we accept and what we don't; what we hold on to and what we let go; what fight for and what we give up on; which lies to believe and which lies to accept; which ones matter and which ones don't. This book made me learn so much about how much power I have over my own life, and gosh, that's just one of the most freeing things ever.

If you haven't read a Katie McGarry book yet, what the heck are you waiting for? Pick up any of her books and you will be convinced by how amazing she is. If you have read one of her books, then go ahead and pre-order yourself a copy of Nowhere But Here because I swear to you, you will not regret it. No words would do justice to describe how utterly amazing Katie McGarry's books are, and I'm in love with all of them.
