Feyre is immortal.

After rescuing her lover Tamlin from a wicked Faerie Queen, she returns to the Spring Court possessing the powers of the High Fae. But Feyre cannot forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people - nor the bargain she made with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court.

As Feyre is drawn ever deeper into Rhysand's dark web of politics and passion, war is looming and an evil far greater than any queen threatens to destroy everything Feyre has fought for. She must confront her past, embrace her gifts and decide her fate.

She must surrender her heart to heal a world torn in two.

Never before in my entire life have I screamed so much while reading a book as when I read A Court of Mist and Fury, especially near the end, when my heart threatened to explode. To be honest, I was prepared to only give this book 4 stars at first because as was mentioned by some readers, it was predictable that Feyre was going to end up with Rhys and Tamlin was going to look bad one way or another. But after that explosive ending, after the amazing, blood-pumping plot that kept me on my toes the whole time? No way in hell can I give this book less than 5 stars.

Sarah J. Maas is an amazing writer - but a cruel one at that. She ripped my heart out in A Court of Mist and Fury that my siblings were all looking at me weirdly because I was literally screaming and thrashing while reading it. It's every bit as amazing as I thought it would be, and I'm so glad I bought and read this the first chance I got.

In this book, Sarah J. Maas showed us another vivid piece of the world that she has flawlessly created for us to enjoy (and to cry over, of course). The Night Court has a lot of guarded secrets, but within all those is a beautiful city that I would just love to turn into reality. Even only by reading about it, it already took my breath away.

Ugh, it's so hard to write this review without spoiling anything, so I better just shut up now. But, gosh - this book just took me away and broke my heart. I cannot wait for the next book! I need it in my life! It's cruel how long I have to wait before I get to read it!
