Chloe didn't think about it much when she nodded off in study hall on that sleepy summer day. But when she wakes up, snow is on the ground and she can't remember the last six months of her life. Before, she'd been a mediocre student. Now, she's on track for valedictorian and being recruited by Ivy League schools. Before, she never had a chance with super jock Blake. Now he's her boyfriend. Before, she and Maggie were inseparable. Now her best friend won't speak to her.

  What happened to her?
  And why can't she remember?

First of all, I would just like to say that I rarely read any mystery novels, and by rarely, I mean less than five. Six Months Later is different. Even though I already knew that it was a mystery novel, it got me hooked from the synopsis, and that's why I signed up for the book tour.

Chloe was just an average student, but one day, she wakes up and suddenly her whole life has changed. She's a candidate for valedictorian, and has the guy she's been crushing on since Freshmen year. There's just one problem - she doesn't remember how that happened, because she can't remember the past six months.

Six Months Later got me hooked the moment I set my eyes on it, and it didn't disappoint. From the mystery to the romance, the writing and the twists and turns, I loved every bit of it. The whole time, I couldn't put it down, because I just had to know what happened, and I read it in a day!

I'm really impressed, especially for a mystery novel, and I must say, I think I should read more mystery novels from now on!

So, what do you guys think about the mystery genre?

  1. Hi Kim!

Oh, man, this is the loveliest review! I'm so glad you tried out the mystery genre and even more excited that you liked Six Months Later! Thank you so much for having me and for being part of the blog tour -- it's been wonderful to be here! :-)

    1. It's no problem, I only stated the truth. I'm glad I tried the mystery genre too! Six Months Later was just that interesting that I had to read it :P

  2. I also really enjoyed Six Months Later.. though I as a bit frustrated at how naive the main protagonist was sometimes. Still, loved the romance. You should definitely check out Truly, Madly, Deadly by Hannah Jayne, it is as good, if not better than Six Months Later :D

    1. I didn't feel frustrated with the main character. I've been hearing things about Truly Madly Deeply too, and now that I feel more open with the mystery genre, I would definitely check it out! Thanks for the recommendation :)

  3. I recently read this one. I also really enjoyed it. My review is going up next week. I was also impressed with the mystery of this novel. Great review!
