Grace can best be described as a daredevil, an Army brat, and a rebel. She is also the only granddaughter of perhaps the most powerful ambassador in the world and Grace has spent every summer of her childhood running across the roofs of Embassy Row.

Now, at age sixteen, she's come back to stay - in order to solve the mystery of her mother's death. In the process, she uncovers an international conspiracy of unsettling proportions, and must choose her friends and watch her foes carefully if she and the world are to be saved.
Grace is the granddaughter of America's ambassador. Now sixteen, Grace has returned to Embassy Row, trying to find the "scarred man" who she knows killed her mother. With the help of Noah, Megan and Rosie, she will solve the mystery of her mother's murder.

When I first read about this book, I was really excited because I loved Ally Carter's Gallagher Girl series. When I finally read this book, I was really able to enjoy it, however I think that were wasn't anything special about it. Compared to Gallagher Girls, this one really pales in comparison.

While reading it, I was not really connected with the characters. The twist was really great though, but that was the only highlight of the whole novel. I bet the second book will be more exciting and interesting, and I cannot wait to get my hands on it!
